      A Poem by Lady FaerieFire
      (all copyrights reserved)

      There were two alone.
      Utterly alone.
      Each saying to themself,
      "Je suis toujours seul."
Each stands alone on a hill.
Staring at the stars, looking for meaning.
      Each saying to themself,
      "Je suis toujours seul."
      The stars twinkled
      and fell,
      And between two hills,
      A bridge was formed.
      First one step,
      then two,
      and then a dozen
      and more.
      And finally,
the two alone were alone no longer,
      the Lady blessed them both.
      With each other.

*a note for non-French speakers: "je suis toujours seul(e)" means "I am always (or forever) alone."
