Plot Synopsis:
Julian plays a young South American (!) diplomat who's posted to
Warsaw just before the Second World War. His wife (Renee Soutendijk -
a Dutch actress best known for her role in Paul Verhoeven's 'The
Fourth Man') has visions of the coming Nazi Holocaust. Julian's
character thinks she's crazy, has her committed to a high-class
sanatorium and flees back to Uruguay with another girl. The Nazis
march into Warsaw, and massacre Renee and the other mental patients
as "defectives". Julian's character feels guilty for the
rest of his life.
